Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern all products and services provided by Kitchen Buddy (“we”, “us”, “our”). By engaging our services or purchasing our products, you agree to the following terms.

Quotes & Orders

  • Orders are confirmed once deposit is received
  • Any changes requested after confirmation may incur additional costs and delays

Pricing & Payments

  • All prices are in NZD and may include GST unless stated otherwise
  • Full payment must be made prior to delivery or pickup unless agreed otherwise

Lead Times

  • Estimated lead times are provided as a guide only
  • Delays may occur due to material availability, supplier issues, or unforeseen circumstances
  • We will communicate any significant changes where possible

Delivery & Pickup

  • Delivery is available within Auckland only, subject to our Shipping Policy
  • Risk transfers to the customer upon delivery or pickup
  • Customers must ensure safe and reasonable site access

Installation

  • Installation is not included unless explicitly stated
  • If installation is provided, the site must be ready (level floors, completed trades, clear access)

Returns & Cancellations

  • Returns & refunds can be provided if product is damaged on arrival.
  • Any approved cancellations may be subject to costs incurred to date

Warranty

  • We stand by the quality of our workmanship and offer a 10 year warranty on our products.
  • Hardware components (e.g. hinges, runners) are covered by manufacturer warranties
  • This warranty does not cover misuse, improper installation, or general wear and tear

Limitation of Liability

  • To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss
  • Our liability is limited to the value of the goods or services supplied

Consumer Guarantees Act

  • Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 where applicable

Privacy

  • Customer information is used solely for fulfilling orders and communication
  • We do not share personal information with third parties except where required to complete services

Changes to Terms

  • We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time
